Stephen Curry, the last pillar of the dynasty, carried a heavy load in 2024-25.

The 2024-25 Warriors marked an inflection point for one of the NBA's great dynasties. After Klay Thompson left for Dallas and the roster was retooled around younger players, questions swirled about whether Curry alone could sustain contention. Curry defied Father Time with vintage stretches, but the supporting cast couldn't match his output consistently. By midseason the Warriors hovered around .500, far from the dynasty years. As the All-Star break approached, Golden State clung to the 10th seed and a Play-In berth — a far cry from the Finals runs fans had grown accustomed to. The season felt like a long goodbye to an era, even if no one was ready to say it out loud.
